The mission of the Rocky Mountain Women in Law Enforcement is to provide an affordable conference to law enforcement agencies in Colorado and the surrounding states with comprehensive information on the recruitment, retention, mentoring, and promotion of women in law enforcement.  Our goal is to increase the number of women in law enforcement and enhance community-oriented policing in our communities.

This year, we are holding an exciting essay contest for school age women, (anyone 18 or older is eligible to enter), who are interested in a future career in Law Enforcement.  The winner will receive free registration to the three-day conference, formal recognition at the conference, and their essay and picture will be posted on the Rocky Mountain Women in Law Enforcement web site.

The conference is an excellent opportunity to meet women in this profession from all over.  The inaugural conference in 2003, brought women from Pennsylvania , Utah, Alberta, Canada , Oregon, Arizona and more. Network, make friends and benefit from the support and encouragement of others who understand this exciting line of work.  Get a head start to your career with innovative ideas and training.
